DISADVANTAGED BUSINESS ENTERPRISE (DBE) PROGRAM
Federal Fiscal Year 2008 Overall Goals
Pursuant to Title 49, Code of Federal Regulations (CFR), Part 26, notice is hereby given that the State of Hawaii, Department of Transportation (HDOT), is proposing DBE goals for the Airports Division, State Transportation Planning Office (STP), Oahu Metropolitan Planning Organization (OMPO), and the Office of Hawaiian Affairs (OHA) Halawa-Luluku Interpretive Development Project. The proposed goals for DBE participation are expressed as a percentage of all federal funds that HDOT expects to expend on federal aid contracts in the forthcoming federal fiscal year.
The proposed goal of 6.6% for the Airports Division will be submitted to the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).
The proposed goal of 7.3% for the Highways Division will be submitted to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).
The proposed goal of 0.41% for STP will be submitted to the Federal Transit Administration (FTA).
The proposed goal of 11.03% for OMPO, Metropolitan Planning Funds will be submitted to the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA).
The proposed goal of 1.8% for OHA, Halawa-Luluku Interpretive Development Project will be submitted to FHWA.
The proposed goals and their rationale are available for public inspection from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except holidays, for 30 days following the date of this notice at the following address:
