NOTICE TO MOTORISTS

There will be road work on Ala Wai Boulevard between Kapahulu Avenue and Kanekapolei Street as shown above. The work primarily consists of reconstructing, milling and resurfacing of the asphalt roadway. Additional activities include reconstructing concrete driveways, curb & gutter, and sidewalk, installation of permanent pavement markings, traffic loop sensors, and adjustment of utility manholes. The work is scheduled to begin on June 18, 2007 with a contract duration of 90 calendar days. The work hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time while driving through the work areas. Please observe all traffic controls and posted signs; expect lane closures and delays.
