Minimum requirements: A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in social work, sociology, psychology, public administration or a related field and at least 3 1/2 years of investigational or law enforcement experience; must be qualified to carry and/or possess any firearm or ammunition in accordance with state and federal laws, e.g., no misdemeanor or felony domestic violence conviction; and a valid driver’s license.
