NOTICE TO BIDDERS
BID FORMS for IFB No. 07-125, with plans, General Structural Repairs, Buildings 8802 and 8814, Honolulu Community College, will be available from and received in the OFFICE OF PROCUREMENT AND REAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT (OPRPM), UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII, 1400 LOWER CAMPUS ROAD, ROOM 15, HONOLULU, HAWAII 96822.
Written notice of intention to bid is due in OPRPM by 4:30 p.m., June 1, 2007 Intention to bid via FAX (808) 956-2093 is acceptable.
Due to conditions at the site that may not be clearly identified in technical specifications and plans, it is highly recommended that all bidders attend a the pre-bid conference/job site walk-through at 1:30 p.m., May 22, 2007 at the Honolulu Community College, Administration Building, 1 st Floor Conference Room 101, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Requests for Substitution/Clarification must be submitted to the Technical Representative, Rosalina Burian, FAX 956-0866 no later than 4:00 p.m., May 25, 2007.
Bids must be submitted no later than 2:30 p.m., June 12, 2007.
Bids received after the due time and date(s) fixed above will not be considered.
The work shall consist of repair of all exterior concrete spalls at Building 8802 and reconstruction of mauka and ewa exterior fascias at Building 8814. Restore and paint all repaired and reconstructed surfaces to match existing adjacent color. In addition to painting of all repaired and reconstructed surfaces in Buildings 8802 and 8814, paint all exterior wall surfaces (Sheet S-5) of Building 8802.
To be eligible to bid, bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii contractor\u2019s license B. BIDS FROM CONTRACTORS NOT LICENSED IN THE STATE OF HAWAII WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED.
