TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES

IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2007-4 TO AMEND SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XI OF SECTION 15-8.3(b) ESTABLISHING NO TURNS; SCHEDULE XIII OF SECTION 15-11.2(c) ESTABLISHING YIELD RIGHT-OF-WAY; SCHEDULE XIV OF SECTION 15-11.3 ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTIONS; SCHEDULE XX OF SECTION 15-13.9(a)(7) ESTABLISHING TOW ZONES–24 HOURS; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXIII OF SECTION 15-14.5(b) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED LOADING/UNLOADING; SCHEDULE XXV OF SECTION 15-15.3(d) ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL BUS STOPS; SCHEDULE XXVI OF SECTION 15-16.1 ESTABLISHING TIME LIMIT PARKING; SCHEDULE XXX OF SECTION 15-22.1(a) ESTABLISHING PARKING METER ZONES.

Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:

a. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph by adding thereto the following item:

“Saratoga Ave., for its entire length.”

b. By amending Schedule XI of Sec. 15-8.3(b) establishing no turns by adding thereto the following items:

“Ilalo St. No ‘U’ turn from Ilalo St. at Ahui St. in both directions.”

“Ilalo St. No ‘U’ turn from Ilalo St. at Cooke St. in both directions.”

“Ilalo St. No ‘U’ turn from Ilalo St. at Coral St. in both directions.”

“Ilalo St. No ‘U’ turn from Ilalo St. at Forrest Ave.”

“Ilalo St. No ‘U’ turn from Ilalo St. at Keawe St. in both directions.”

“Ilalo St. No ‘U’ turn from Ilalo St. at Koula St. in both directions.”

“Ilalo St. No ‘U’ turn from Ilalo St. at Ohe St. in both directions.”

c. By amending Schedule XIII of Sec. 15-11.2(c) by adding thereto the following item:

“Ala Moana Blvd-Ilalo St. Traffic on Ala Moana Blvd. making a right turn into Ilalo St. shall yield the right-of-way to traffic on Ilalo St.”

d. By amending Schedule XIV of Sec. 15-11.3 establishing stop intersections in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following items:

“Ahui St-Ilalo St. Traffic on Ahui St. shall stop before entering Ilalo St.”

“Cooke St-Ilalo St. Traffic on Cooke St. shall stop before entering Ilalo St.”

“Coral St-Ilalo St. Traffic on Coral St. shall stop before entering Ilalo St.”

“Ilalo St-Ahui St. Traffic on Ilalo St. shall stop before entering Ahui St.”

“Ilalo St-Cooke St. Traffic on Ilalo St. shall stop before entering Cooke St.”

“Ilalo St-Forrest Ave. Traffic on Ilalo St. shall stop before entering Forrest Ave.”

“Keawe St-Ilalo St. Traffic on Keawe St. shall stop before entering Ilalo St.”

“Koula St-Ilalo St. Traffic on Koula St. shall stop before entering Ilalo St.”

“Ohe St-Ilalo St. Traffic on Ohe St. shall stop before entering Ilalo St.”

“Saratoga Ave-Boxer St. Traffic on Saratoga Ave. shall stop before entering Boxer St.”

“Saratoga Ave-Enterprise Ave. Traffic on Saratoga Ave. shall stop before entering Enterprise Ave.”

“Saratoga Ave-Lexington Ave. Traffic on Saratoga Ave. shall stop before entering Lexington Ave.”

2. By deleting therefrom the following items:

“Ilalo St-Koula St. Traffic on Ilalo St. shall stop before entering Koula St.”

“Ilalo St-Ohe St. Traffic on Ilalo St. shall stop before entering Ohe St.”

e. By amending Schedule XX of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(7) establishing tow zones–24 hours in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following items:

“Bethel St., Ewa side, from a point 100’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of S. Hotel St. to Pauahi St.”

“Waialae Ave. , mauka side, between 17th and Koko Head Aves.”

2. By amending thereto the following item:

Bethel St., Ewa side, distance 115’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Hotel St.; to read:

“Bethel St., Ewa side, distance 55’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of S. Hotel St.”

f. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following items:

“Ainakoa Ave., within its turnaround area.”

“Alawa Pl., within its turnaround area.”

“Hokuahiahi St., northern (Wahiawa) side, distance 67’ westerly (Waianae) direction from the western curb prolongation of Kuahelani Ave.”

“Kuahelani Ave., western (Waianae) side, distance 80’ southerly (Waipahu) direction from the southern curb prolongation of Hokuahiahi St.”

“Kuahelani Ave., western (Waianae) side, distance 86’ northerly (Wahiawa) direction from the northern curb prolongation of Hokuahiahi St.”

“Laniuma Rd., both sides, for its entire length.”

“Luinakoa St., within its turnaround area.”

“Mikiola Dr., makai (eastern) side, distance 80’ Makapuu (southerly) direction from the Makapuu curb prolongation of Puamohala St.”

“Mikiola Dr., makai (eastern) side, distance 50’ Kahuku (northerly) direction from the Kahuku curb prolongation of Puamohala St.”

“Puamohala St., Makapuu (southern) side, distance 45’ makai (easterly) direction from the makai curb prolongation of Mikiola Dr.”

“Tenth Ave., Ewa side, distance 237’ mauka direction from a point 160’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Makanui Pl.”

2. By amending thereto the following items:

Ala Aolani St., Ewa side, distance 82’ mauka (northerly) direction from a point 586’ mauka (north) of the mauka (northern) curb prolongation of Ala Napunani St.; to read:

“Ala Aolani St., Ewa side, distance 147’ mauka (northerly) direction from a point 586’ mauka (north) of the mauka (northern) curb prolongation of Ala Napunani St.”

California Ave., Haleiwa (northern) side, distance 335’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Mango St.; to read:

“California Ave., Haleiwa (northern) side, distance 203’ Waianae (westerly) direction from a point 74’ Waianae (west) of the Waianae (western) curb prolongation of Westervelt St.”

Citron St., Koko Head side, between Ewa driveway of 1645 Citron St. and 1653 Citron St., AM-PM peaks; to read:

“Citron St., makai side, distance 145’ Koko Head direction from a point 30’ Ewa of the Ewa curb prolongation of Kuikahi St., 6:30-8:30 a.m. and 3:30-5:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.”

Citron St., makai side, distance 86’ Koko Head direction from the Koko Head property line of 1607 Citron St.; to read:

“Citron St., makai side, distance 150’ Ewa direction form a point 30’ Ewa of the Ewa curb prolongation of Kuikahi St.”

3. By deleting therefrom the following items:

“Ilalo St., mauka side, between Koula St. and Ahui St.”

“Tenth Ave., Ewa side, distance 180’ mauka direction from a point 126’ mauka of the mauka property line of 2442 10th Ave.”

g. By amending Schedule XXIII of Sec. 15-14.5(b) establishing prohibited parking loading and unloading in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following item:

“Bethel St., Ewa side, from a point 100’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of S. Hotel St. to Pauahi St.”

2. By amending thereto the following item:

Bethel St., Ewa side, distance 115’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Hotel St.: to read:

“Bethel St., Ewa side, distance 55’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of S. Hotel St.”

h. By amending Schedule XXV of Sec. 15-15.3(d) establishing official bus stops in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following items:

“Ilalo St., mauka side, distance 255’ Koko Head direction from a point 40’ Koko Head of the Koko Head curb prolongation of Coral St.”

“Ilalo St., makai side, distance 145’ Ewa direction from a point 35’ Ewa of the Ewa curb prolongation of Coral St.”

“Palolo Ave., Koko Head side, distance 150’ mauka direction from a point 130’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Palolo Terrace Pl.”

2. By amending thereto the following item:

Alani Dr., Ewa side, distance 150’ makai direction from a point 73’ mauka of the mauka property line of 3338 Alani Dr.; to read:

“Alani Dr., Ewa side, distance 88’ mauka direction from a point 345’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Waipuna Rise.”

i. By amending Schedule XXVI of Sec. 15-16.1 establishing time limit parking by adding thereto the following item:

“Ilalo St., (2 hrs.) both sides, between Ala Moana Blvd. and Forrest Ave., 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. except Sundays and State holidays.”

j. By amending Schedule XXX of Sec. 15-22.1(a) establishing parking meter zones by adding thereto the following items:

“Bethel St., both sides, between S. Hotel St. and Chaplain Ln.”

“Bethel St., Koko Head side, between Merchant and S. King Sts.”

“Bethel St., Ewa side, between Chaplain Ln. and S. Beretania St.”

“Ilalo St., both sides, between Ala Moana Blvd. and Forrest Ave.”

Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
