Insurance Examiner II

The Insurance Division is recruiting for qualified applicants to fill the position of an Insurance Examiner II. The Insurance Examiner II duties include financial analysis and examination of insurance companies to monitor and assess its financial condition. The Examiner II is part of the Financial Surveillance and Examination Branch which is responsible for regulatory oversight of insurers and conducts financial and market conduct exams on Hawaii insurance companies.

College degree with major in accounting or finance, good analytical skills, and proficiency with Word and Excel are essential. Insurance industry experience is a plus. CPA or CFE is preferred.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
