ADMINISTRATION

PUBLIC SAFETY

The State of Hawaii seeks a highly motivated
individual to serve as the Deputy Director for
Administration for the Department of Public Safety.
This is a non-civil service executive management
position requiring an experienced leader with
vision, effective communication skills, and
demonstrated abilities to assist the Director in
administering the public safety programs.

Under the general direction of the Director of Public Safety,
the Deputy is responsible for administrative services and
systems, including program planning, budgeting, capital
improvements, fiscal accounting, payroll, procurement and
contracting, human resources, training and staff development,
information technology, organization and methods, and other
