We are looking for an energetic individual to join our
Information Technology Branch (Administrative Services
Office, Downtown, Honolulu) to assist departmental staff
with information/data processing hardware, software,
and Local Area Network/Wide Area Network systems
needs, procurement, and usage; maintain the
departments electronic mail system; conduct research
on new technologies to improve operations; and
maintain the departments file and web servers.
The Department of Business, Economic Development
& Tourism is Hawaiis resource center for economic
and statistical data, business development opportunities,
energy and conservation information, and foreign
trade advantages. We are constantly making strides,
moving ahead technologically so that we can effectively
tap into new markets and seek out new opportunities.
