TAX ASSESSOR II
$5115/mo – $7565/mo

Chief of the Field Audit Branch responsible for conducting field examinations for all types of tax returns of larger taxpayers. Branch is comprised of approx. 30 staff, mainly Field Auditors.

Bachelor\u2019s degree with at least 12 credit hours in accounting and/or auditing subjects. Plus, 5 years of experience requiring knowledge and application of generally accepted professional accounting and auditing principles, theory and practices. Such experience must have provided the applicant with a good working knowledge of federal and/or Hawaii State tax laws, rules, and regulations. At least 1 of the 5 years must have been as a leader of a team of auditors for large and complex assignments. Plus, 1 year of supervisory experience supervising professional auditors. Relevant substitutions are allowed.

INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
SPECIALIST V (ORACLE)
$3954/mo – $4625/mo

Primary function is to serve as the Database Administrator, designing databases using design principles, and techniques. May also perform other data processing systems analyst duties.

Bachelor\u2019s degree, plus three and one-half years of professional work experience in information technology which involved systems analysis, design, programming, security and access management, database design and management, consulting, and/or installing and maintaining computer software applications, hardware, telecommunications, web or network infrastructure equipment. At least 2 of the 3 _ years must have involved designing, maintaining, modifying and troubleshooting databases utilizing Oracle using SQL Plus, SQL scripting, SQL Loader, IBM/AIX Unix command line processing and Kornshell scripting and working on a Unix operating system. This database experience must have been gained no more than 4 years prior to the date of application. Relevant substitutions are allowed.
