Certificate of Need

The Agency has received a request for a public information meeting on the following certificate of need applications pursuant to Section 323D-44.5, Hawaii Revised Statutes: Victory Ohana Prison Fellowship, Inc. – #06-30A – for the establishment of 24-Special Treatment beds, at 94-951 Kahuamoku Place, Waipahu, Hawaii, at a capital cost of $750,000 and #06-31A – for the establishment of 40-Special Treatment beds, at 94-104 Pupuole Place, Waipahu, Hawaii, at a capital cost of $650,000.
The meeting will be held on February 1, 2007, 10:00 a.m., at 1177 Alakea Street, Room #401, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Certificate applications are reviewed according to the following criteria: relation to the state health services and facilities plan, need and accessibility, quality, cost and finances, relation to the existing health care system, and availability of resources.
