ASSISTANT MEDICAL DIRECTOR
(half-time position)
To assist the AMHD Medical Director in planning, implementing, coordinating, and monitoring of program and service effectiveness to assure the availability of a variety of service options as it relates to psychiatric services. MQ: psychiatrist with 4 years of experience in clinical psychiatry including 2 years of experience in community mental health setting.
PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT SPECIALIST
Participates in monitoring and improving the quality of care provided to consumers served by the Community Mental Health Centers and purchase of service providers and reviewing and investigating sentinel events and quality of care complaints. MQ: bachelors or masters degree in social work, psychology, sociology, nursing, or other related field; and 2 years experience in a psychiatric setting or relevant experience. Relevant substitutions for education will be considered with appropriate licensure. Licensure and 2 years experience in quality improvement preferred.
UTILIZATION MANAGEMENT (UM)
SPECIALIST
Responsible for the admissions of consumers to AMHD funded services; the continuous review and monitoring of services utilization; and the provision of reviews, consultation, and training. MQ: bachelors or masters degree in social work, psychology, sociology, nursing, or other related field; relevant licensure; and 2 years experience in a psychiatric setting providing professional services. Relevant substitutions for education will be considered with appropriate licensure. Relevant experience in psychiatric or behavioral health care UM analysis or experience managing psychiatric service resource allocations based on clinical evidence-based practice and fiscal criteria preferred.
