NOTICE TO INTERESTED PARTIES

The HAWAII HOUSING FINANCE AND DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION (HHFDC) is requesting for proposals from interested parties to maintain and cultivate as a taro lo’i, a portion of Lot 79, located within the:

WAIAHOLE VALLEY AGRICULTURAL PARK & RESIDENTIAL LOT SUBDIVISION
WAIAHOLE, KOOLAUPOKO, OAHU, HAWAII
LOT NO. 79 TMK: (1) 4-8-012:001
Total Lot Size: 51.546 acres
Portion to maintain and cultivate as a taro lo’i: Approximately 2 1/2 acres
OWNER: Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation

The objective of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to determine the best qualified entity to maintain and cultivate an existing taro lo’i of approximately 2 1/2 acres.

Copies of the RFP may be examined at HHFDC and parties may obtain a copy for a non-refundable amount of $50.00 which is to be paid by Cashier’s or Certified check only. HHFDC’s office is located at:

An informational meeting on the RFP will be held in the HHFDC Boardroom at 10:30 a.m., on Monday, January 22, 2007.

Completed proposals must be received no later than 4:00 p.m., on Wednesday, February 14, 2007. HHFDC reserves the right to cancel the RFP and reject any and all submittals when it is in the best interest of HHFDC.
