NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
SEALED BIDS will be received up to and publicly opened and read aloud at 3:00 pm on Friday, January 24, 2007, at Central Oahu Youth Services Association, Inc. (non-profit 501(c)(3) organization), for:

Plans and specifications will be available at the site beginning on Wednesday, January 10, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at no charge for three (3) sets of Bidding Documents. Contact number: 637-9344.
This project will be partially funded under Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974 (Public Law 93-383). Contractor will be required to comply with all applicable current State and Federal labor standards in effect at the time the Contract is executed.
To be eligible to bid, the prospective bidder must provide written notice of bidders intention to bid. Bidder shall be licensed in accordance with Chapter 444, HRS, relating to the licensing of Contractor. The Owner must receive such written notice by 4:00 pm on January 22, 2007 via facsimile at 808-637-3050.
A pre-bid conference and site inspection will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 at 1:00 pm at the site. This will be the only opportunity to visit the site during the bid period; therefore, attendance at this meeting is encouraged.
All bids shall be accompanied by a bid security of the amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid amount.
Bidders attention is directed to Act 352, SLH 1997, relating to the requirements for tax clearances from State Department of Taxation and the Internal Revenue Service, as a prerequisite to entering into a contract and final payment of contract.
