NOTICE

The following Ordinances passed Final Reading at the meeting held by the Council of the City and County of Honolulu on December 13, 2006 and were subsequently approved by the Mayor:

Ordinance 06-49 [Bill 75 (2006)] – A Bill for an Ordinance relating to metered and attendant parking facilities.
AYES: Councilmembers Apo, Cachola, Dela Cruz, Djou, Garcia, Kobayashi, Marshall, Okino, Tam. – 9.
Approved: December 21, 2006.
Effective: This ordinance shall take effect upon the department of transportation services written announcement, signed by the director of transportation services, of the conversion of the Kaimuki 1 (12th Avenue/11th Avenue) from meter to attendant parking.

Ordinance 06-51 [Bill 70 (2006), CD1] – A Bill for an Ordinance relating to exceptional trees.
AYES: Councilmembers Apo, Cachola, Dela Cruz, Djou, Garcia, Kobayashi, Marshall, Okino, Tam. – 9.
Approved/Effective: December 27, 2006.

Ordinance 06-52 [Bill 71 (2006), CD2] – A Bill for an Ordinance relating to prohibited activities on city buses and special transit vehicles.
AYES: Councilmembers Apo, Cachola, Dela Cruz, Djou, Garcia, Kobayashi, Marshall, Okino, Tam. – 9.
Approved/Effective: December 27, 2006.

Ordinance 06-53 [Bill 76 (2006), CD1] – A Bill for an Ordinance to rezone land in Kapolei, Ewa, Oahu.
AYES: Councilmembers Apo, Cachola, Dela Cruz, Djou, Garcia, Kobayashi, Marshall, Okino, Tam. – 9.
Approved/Effective: December 27, 2006.

The Council of the City and County of Honolulu at its meeting held on December 22, 2006, reconsidered its vote on and passed the following Bill on Final Reading, the Mayor’s veto to the contrary notwithstanding by the following vote:

Ordinance 06-50 [Bill 82 (2006)] – A Bill for an Ordinance relating to requirements for transit stations.
AYES: Councilmembers Apo, Cachola, Dela Cruz, Djou, Kobayashi, Marshall. – 6.
NOES: Councilmember Garcia, Okino, Tam. – 3.
Approved/Effective: December 22, 2006.
