NOTICE TO MOTORISTS

There will be road work on Kainehe Street and Hamakua Drive (see above map). The work primarily consists of reconstructing, milling and resurfacing the asphalt roadway. Additional activities include installation of curb ramps, concrete bus pads, curb & gutter, permanent pavement markings, traffic loop sensors, and adjustment of utility manholes. The work is scheduled to begin on January 8, 2007 with a contract duration of 180 calendar days. The work hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time while driving through the work areas. Please observe all traffic controls and posted signs; expect lane closures and delays.
