EXEMPT NON-CIVIL SERVICE
Responsible for the direction and maintenance of all fiscal and accounting activities for the division inclusive of the various Medical Assistance Programs (Medicaid and Quest); and serves as the technical adviser on fiscal matters.
Qualifications: Knowledge of: Relevant policies/procedures, program/operational policies; and accounting principles and practices to carry out the effective implementation of all requirements and activities of the Finance Office. Skills/Abilities to: Effectively plan and implement program requirements; establish expectations for the purchasing and procurement; review, control and recommend changes to work operations; exercise judgment and make responsible decisions. Education/Experience: Bachelors degree from an accredited four (4) year college or university with twelve (12) semester credit hours in auditing and/or accounting and five (5) years of professional experience in accounting/auditing, three (3) of which should have involved work in the managed/health care area.
