Department of Parks & Recreation in Ocean View

Starting salary: $2,222.00 – $3,422.00 per month/
$12.82 – $19.74 per hour

Minimum requirements: A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from high school and two years of experience which shall have involved providing information, referral, and outreach assistance to the elderly and other target groups (i.e., disabled adults). Ability to travel independently to various geographic locations. This requirement may be fulfilled by possession of a valid State of Hawai`i driver’s license (Class 3), valid comparable driver’s license, or use of other means of transportation which meets position needs.

Starting salary: $3,246.00 – $4,625.00/month

Minimum requirements: A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in social work, sociology, psychology, public administration, or a related field and at least one and a half (1-1/2) years of investigational or law enforcement experience. Must be qualified to carry and/or possess firearm or ammunition in accordance with state and federal laws, e.g., no misdemeanor or felony domestic violence conviction. Ability to travel independently to various geographic locations. This requirement may be fulfilled by possession of a valid State of Hawai`i driver’s license (Class 3), valid comparable driver’s license, or use of other means of transportation which meets position needs.
