Adult Mental Health Division (AMHD)
Non-Civil Service Positions (Exempt)

AMHD CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER (CFO)
Provides management and leadership in the administrative, business and financial planning, accounting, budgeting, contracting, and personnel activities of AMHD. MQ: master’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, accounting, public administration, public health, finance or other related field; 3 years of progressively responsible financial/healthcare managerial experience including direct experience with payers of health care services, utilization management, and/or compliance programs; 4 years of administrative and/or analytical experience involving or directed at a public health program; and 2 years experience developing and utilizing data and statistics for surveillance and program improvement.

AMHD SECRETARY/RESEARCHER
Provides secretarial services and support for the AMHD CFO. Develops and conducts special projects and research studies on methods to improve efficiency and productivity and issues relating to the funding of mental health services. MQ: high school diploma or equivalent with a business curriculum, a degree or diploma from an accredited business or technical school or community college which included courses in business curriculum and knowledge of general office practices and procedures, and 2 years of specialized clerical experience.

CRISIS SERVICES COORDINATOR
Coordinates a statewide system of crisis services for adults with severe and persistent mental illness. MQ: Qualified Mental Health Professional; a master’s degree in social work with experience in mental health, a master’s degree in nursing specializing in psychiatry, a master’s degree in psychology, or a master’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university; 5 years working with mentally ill consumers; and 2 years of supervisory experience in crisis or crisis support services.
