JERRY COFFEE, Republican Party candidate for U.S. Senator withdrew on August 31, 2006 for reasons of ill health.
Given that the ballots have been printed, notice of his withdrawal shall be prominently posted at the appropriate polling places on Primary Election day.
If, but for JERRY COFFEEs withdrawal, he would have been nominated pursuant to Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 12-41(a), a vacancy shall exist in the partys nomination for the following general election to be filled in the manner provided by law under Hawaii Revised Statutes Section 11-118(b).
