IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 276
KAILUA, KOOLAUPOKO, OAHU, HAWAII

TO OWNERS, LESSEES AND OCCUPANTS OF LAND PROPOSED TO BE
ASSESSED AND TO ALL OTHERS INTERESTED:

You are hereby NOTIFIED that in conformity with the provisions of Section 14-26.1 of Chapter 14 of the Revised Ordinances of Honolulu 1990, as amended, the City Council will hold a Public Hearing at Honolulu Hale, 530 South King Street, Third Floor, Council Chamber, on September 6, 2006 AT 2:00 P.M., for KAILUA ROAD SEWERS as shown in the Director of Design and Construction’s Assessment Report, dated July 26, 2006. A copy of said report, the assessment map and assessment roll and description of the properties in the improvement district, being on file at the Office of the Chief, Wastewater Division, Department of Design and Construction, and open to inspection during business hours, the same being incorporated herein by reference and showing in detail:

AREA TO BE ASSESSED:

That area as shown in the Director’s Report dated July 26, 2006.

METHOD OF ASSESSMENT:

Assessments shall be made on an area basis and the owner shall be permitted to pay the same in one (1) payment or in twenty (20) equal annual installments with interest on the deferred payments at a rate not to exceed five and three thousandths (5.003) percent per annum.

IMPROVEMENT SHALL CONSIST OF:

Polyvinyl chloride pipes, manholes and other appurtenances as shown on the construction plans.

ESTIMATE OF COST:

1. The estimated total cost of the entire improvement, including the
contract bid, land acquisition, engineering, inspection, advertising,
contingency, and incidentals, is …………………………………………….. $1,986,000.00

2. The total assessable area within the entire district is ………………… 363, 430 sq. ft.
