PROCLAMATION

Pursuant to Section 13-3(a)(3), Hawaii Revised Statutes, I, DWAYNE D. YOSHINA, Chief Election Officer of the State of Hawaii do hereby proclaim that after the close of filing of nomination papers, there were only two qualified candidates for the BOARD OF EDUCATION, First School Board District, Fourth Departmental District (Central) seat, Eileen Ishihara Clarke and Shirley A. Robinson.
I declare those two candidates duly nominated for the General Election on Tuesday, November 7, 2006 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The names of the two candidates shall not appear on the primary election ballot.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand and caused the Great Seal of the State of Hawaii to be affixed.
