NOTICE TO MOTORISTS
Rehabilitation of Streets, Unit 37

The public is advised that road work on the above marked streets is scheduled to begin on September 11, 2006 with a contract duration of 240 calendar days. The project includes asphalt reconstruction and resurfacing of the roadways, construction of concrete bus pads with integral curb and gutters, adjustment of utilities to grade, replacement of vehicle detector loops and pavement markings. Work hours are from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday. A portion of King Street between Kapaakea Lane and Old Waialae Road will be performed at night from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM Sunday night to Friday morning. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution, observe all traffic control devices, anticipate delays and use alternate routes. Special Duty officers will be used at critical locations to assist motorist and pedestrians.
