Non-Civil Service Position (Exempt)

CLINICAL SOCIAL WORKER

This position provides an array of mental health, clinical social work services; including psychiatric assessments, eligibility determinations, psychotherapeutic treatment to adults with a severe and persistent mental illness. Work is performed as a member of a multidisciplinary team.

Master’s degree in social work from an accredited university or doctoral degree in social work with an emphasis in general welfare. Extensive clinical experience involving psychiatric evaluation and treatment of mentally ill adults. Demonstrated ability to perform the most difficult and complex clinical assignments relative to clinical treatment services, especially with such co-occurring disorders as substance abuse. Supervisory experience preferred. Hawai`i license as a clinical social worker or diplomat status required for third party reimbursement.
