NOTICE TO MOTORISTS

There will be road work on Kamehameha Highway, West Bound between Radford Drive and the Arizona Memorial (see above map). The work primarily consists of constructing new shoulder, curb, gutter, and sidewalk; cold planning; paving; relocating existing drainage structures and utilities; slope excavation; and installing traffic signs, pavement markings and striping.

The work is scheduled to begin on August 7, 2006 with a contract duration of 170 working days. The work hours will be from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time while driving through the work areas. Please observe all traffic controls and posted signs; expect lane closures and delays. Special Duty Officers will be on site to assist motorists and pedestrians during work hours.
