NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Pursuant to Chapters 91 and 92, Hawaii Revised Statutes, and other applicable laws, notice is hereby given that the Hawaii Historic Places Review Board will hold a Public Hearing at 2:00 p.m., on August 26, 2006 at the Department of Land & Natural Resources, Kalanimoku Building, Board Room 132, 1151 Punchbowl Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813, for the purpose of considering the placement of historic properties on the Hawaii Register of Historic Places and the purpose of considering the recommendation to the State Historic Preservation Officer, the nomination of historic properties to the National Register of Historic Places.

Sites scheduled for review are as follows:

1. Elizabeth W. Leong Residence TMK: (1) 2-5-023: 045

2. Rowan House TMK: (1) 2-8-020: 048

3. Owen and Ellen Williams Residence TMK: (1) 3-3-045: 029

4. Goodsill Residence TMK: (1) 3-2-061: 007

5. Tantalus Round Top Road TMK: (1) 2 Various

Persons wishing to offer comments at the Public Hearing may do so. Such person shall submit one (1) typewritten copy containing the following information at least 24 hours in advance:

1) the name and address of persons desiring to offer comments
2) a statement explaining the nature of his/her submission, and property
3) a clear statement of position on the submission, and
4) a text of the testimony
