TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES

IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2006-6 TO AMEND SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XIV OF SECTION 15-11.3 ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTIONS; SCHEDULE XVIII OF SECTION 15-13.9(a)(5) ESTABLISHING TOW ZONES–PM PEAK; SCHEDULE XX OF SECTION 15-13.9(a)(7) ESTABLISHING TOW ZONES–24 HOURS; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXIV OF SECTION 15-15.1(d) ESTABLISHING CURB LOADING ZONES; SCHEDULE XXV OF SECTION 15-15.3(d) ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL BUS STOPS; SCHEDULE XXVI OF SECTION 15-16.1 ESTABLISHING TIME LIMIT PARKING; SCHEDULE XXXVIII OF SECTION 15-24.17 ESABLISHING MISCELLANEOUS TRAFFIC CONTROLS.

Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:

a. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following items:

“Akoki St., for its entire length.”

“Hanaloa St., for its entire length.”

“Honomanu St., for its entire length.”

“Kauwili St., for its entire length.”

“Laupapa St., for its entire length.”

“Maikoiko St., for its entire length.”

“Managers Dr., for its entire length.”

“Pakaiea St., for its entire length.”

2. By amending thereto the following items:

Hanakahi St., between Fort Weaver Rd. and Kuhina St.; to read:

“Hanakahi St., for its entire length.”

Kuhina St., between Fort Weaver Rd. and Hanakahi St.; to read:

“Kuhina St., for its entire length.”

b. By amending Schedule XIV of Sec. 15-11.3 establishing stop intersections by adding thereto the following items:

“Auloa Rd-Maunawili Rd. Traffic on Auloa Rd., traveling along the southern side of the traffic island in the easterly direction shall stop before entering Maunawili Rd.”

“Lauko St-Akoki St. Traffic on Lauko St. shall stop before entering Akoki St.”

“Lauko St.-Managers Dr. Traffic on Lauko St. shall stop before entering Managers Dr.”

“Maunawili Rd-Auloa Rd. Traffic on Maunawili Rd., traveling along the southern side of the traffic island in the westerly direction shall stop before entering Auloa Rd.”

“Pakaiea St-Akoki St. Traffic on Pakaiea St. shall stop before entering Akoki St.”

“Pakaiea St-Maikoiko St. Traffic on Pakaiea St. shall stop before entering Maikoiko St.”

c. By amending Schedule XVIII of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(5) establishing tow zones–PM Peak in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following item:

“Makaloa St., mauka side, between Amana and Keeaumoku Sts.”

2. By amending thereto the following items:

Keeaumoku St., Koko Head side, between Makaloa and King Sts.; to read:

“Keeaumoku St., Koko Head side, between Makaloa and Liona Sts.”

Makaloa St., mauka side, between Poni and Kaheka Sts.; to read:

“Makaloa St., mauka side, from a point 255’ Ewa of the Ewa curb prolongation of Kalakaua Ave. to Kaheka St.”

3. By deleting therefrom the following item:

“Merchant St., mauka side, between Alakea and Richards Sts.”

d. By amending Schedule XX of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(7) establishing tow zones–24 hours by adding thereto the following item:

e. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:

i. By amending Schedule XXXVIII of Sec. 15-24.17 establishing miscellaneous traffic controls by adding thereto the following items:

“Lemi St., for its entire length, the speed limit shall be 20 miles per hour.”

“Lemiwai St., for its entire length, the speed limit shall be 20 miles per hour.”

“Paiwa St., mauka bound traffic in the Koko Head most lane must turn right at Lumiaina St.”

Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) worKing days after its publication.
