NOTICE OF NAME CHANGE

In 2005 and 2006, the Hawaii State Legislature enacted Act 196, Session Laws of Hawaii 2005, and Act 180, Session Laws of Hawaii 2006, which will convert the Housing and Community Development Corporation of Hawaii (HCDCH) into two separate and distinct housing agencies on July 1, 2006. Both agencies will succeed to the various housing missions and functions that are currently all administered by HCDCH, which will be dissolved on July 1, 2006 as well.

The Hawaii Public Housing Authority (HPHA) will administer the low-income public housing functions and most U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) programs. The business address for the HPHA will be 1002 N. School Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96817.

The Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation (HHFDC) will be responsible for various affordable housing programs such as the Villages of Kapolei and the Rental Housing Trust Fund. The business address for the HHFDC will be 677 Queen Street, Suite 300, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813.
