NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION
OF THE STATE OF HAWAII

Notice is hereby given that the Department of Transportation will hold a public hearing on July 25, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. at the Harbors Division Conference Room No. 1, Third Floor,79 S. Nimitz Highway, Honolulu, Hawaii on a proposed amendment to the Hawaii Administrative Rules, Title 19, Commercial Harbors and Tariff, Chapter 41, Subsection 19-41-2, to include livestock to the definition of island agricultural products.

The purpose of this hearing will be to solicit public comments on the proposed amendment. All interested parties are invited to attend and express their views. Written comments should be provided to the Department at or before the hearing. Further information may be obtained by calling 587-1893 during business hours.

Interested parties residing on the districts of Hawaii, Maui, and Kauai, that would like to participate should contact their local district office.
