This notice is being given pursuant to Section 147 of the United States Internal Revenue Code of 1986. The proceeds of the bonds will be used for the purpose of financing or refinancing the cost of dredging and of design, implementation, land acquisition, renovation, purchase, construction, improvements, betterment, extension and replacements to harbor dock, wharf and storage facilities, including equipment and other property functionally related thereto, located at Honolulu Harbor, Oahu; Nawiliwili Harbor, Kauai; Kahului Harbor, Maui and Hilo Harbor, Hawaii.
