NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
TO PROVIDE AN
INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY LICENSING PROGRAM
(Solicitation No. RFP No. 07-01)

The Hawaii Tourism Authority (HTA), State of Hawaii, seeks proposals from qualified parties to propose, develop, and/or implement an intellectual property licensing program by utilizing the various trademarks, logos, artwork, words, images, tag lines, and other intellectual property created, used, owned, or registered by it on behalf of the State of Hawaii.
A copy of the RFP can be downloaded by accessing the HTA website at www.hawaiitourismauthority.org. Copies are also available at the address listed below, between the hours of 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except for State holidays.
Prospective offerors are invited to attend pre-submittal conferences on June 5, 2006 in Honolulu, Hawaii, or on June 19, 2006 in New York, New York, at the various times and specific locations stated in the RFP. All proposals shall be received by HTA no later than 4:30 p.m., Hawaiian Standard Time, on July 11, 2006. Proposals transmitted by facsimile, through the internet, or electronically shall be rejected. The address to pick up a copy of the RFP and to submit proposals is as follows:

HTA reserves the right to amend this RFP by an addendum, including the schedule provided in the RFP, or to reject any and all proposals when HTA deems it is in the best interest of the State of Hawaii.
