NOTICE TO SOCIAL RESEARCHERS INTERESTED IN PROVIDING
CRIMINAL JUSTICE RESEARCH SERVICES TO THE
DEPARTMENT OF THE ATTORNEY GENERAL
AND OTHER STATE AGENCIES
Pursuant to Chapter 103D-304, Hawaii Revised Statutes, Social Researchers who wish to provide criminal justice research services to the State Department of the Attorney General on a contract basis for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 2006 are invited to submit a Statement of Qualifications (prefer curriculum vitae) and Expression of Interest to the Attorney General. The submitted materials must clearly indicate the candidates areas of methodological and topical expertise and experience. Researchers will be considered for contract as the need arises. Researchers from the same institution or agency wishing to be considered must submit separate statements. The procurement list derived from this process may be used by other State departments and agencies.
This notice will be made annually, with the procurement list updated accordingly. You may indicate in your Statement of Interest if you wish to remain on the list indefinitely, with opportunities to update and/or remove your list of qualifications and expertise.
Your submission must be postmarked or received by the Department of the Attorney General by Tuesday, June 13, 2006, to be eligible for consideration for the entire fiscal year commencing July 1, 2006 and ending June 30, 2007.
