NOTICE FOR REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP)
DESIGN & BUILD IMPROVEMENTS TO
OPEN CHANNEL AND BOX DRAIN CULVERT
KAKAAKO MAKAI AREA
HONOLULU, HAWAII

The State of Hawaii, Hawaii Community Development Authority (HCDA) invites proposals from interested parties to design and construct repairs to the open channel and portions of the box drain culvert located in the Kakaako Makai Area.

The project consists of planning, designing and constructing certain repairs necessary to portions of the drain system for dedication to the City and County of Honolulu. A copy of the RFP can be down- loaded by accessing the State Procurement Office website page at: www.spo.hawaii.gov or at the HCDA website at: www.hcdaweb.org . Copies are also available at the address listed below, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, except for State holidays.

Prospective offerors are invited to attend a pre- proposal meeting and immediately thereafter, a site inspection on April 28, 2006, regarding this solicitation. All proposals must be received by HCDA on or before 4:00 p.m. HST, on May 17, 2006. Proposals should be mailed or hand delivered to:

HCDA reserves the right to amend this RFP by written addenda, to amend the schedule provided herein, or to reject any and all proposals where HCDA deems it is in the best interest of the State of Hawaii.
