Traffic Schedule No. 2006-4

TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES

IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2006-4 TO AMEND SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XII OF SECTION 15-10.1(b) ESTABLISHING ONE-WAY STREET; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXV OF SECTION 15-15.3(d) ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL BUS STOPS.

Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:

a. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph by adding thereto the following items:

“Hihimanu St., for its entire length.”

“Lumipolu St., for its entire length.”

“Ohai St., between Kamehameha Hwy. and Olive Ave.”

b. By amending Schedule XII of . 15-10.1(b) establishing one-way street by adding thereto the following item:

“Adams Ln., makai direction from a point 151’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Hotel St. to Hotel St.”

c. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following items:

“Hakuone Pl., northern side, for its entire length.”

“Hakuone Pl., southern side, from a point approximately 138’ east of the eastern curb prolongation of Hakuone St. to and including its turnaround area.”

“Kahoea St., southern side, distance 94’ westerly direction from the western curb prolongation of Kuahelani Ave.”

“Kuahelani Ave., western side, distance 91’ northerly direction from the northern curb prolongation of Meheula Parkway.”

“Piikoi St., Koko Head side, distance 205’ mauka direction from a point 76’ makai of the Koko Head curb prolongation of Lewalani Dr.”

“Piikoi St., Ewa side, distance 40’ makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Elm St.”

“Portlock Rd., odd-numbered (Ewa/makai) side, for its entire length.”

“Rose St. (Kalihi), mauka side, distance 130’ Ewa direction from a point approximately 257’ Ewa of the Ewa curb prolongation of Myers St. and including its terminus.”

“Rose, St. (Kalihi), makai side, distance 70’ Ewa direction from the Ewa curb prolongation of Arsenal Rd.”

“Wilhelmina Rise, Koko Head side, distance 47’ makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Keanu St.”

“Wilhelmina Rise, Koko Head side, distance 52’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Keanu St.”

“Wilhelmina Rise, Koko Head side, distance 50’ makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Anuhea St., fronting 1433 Wilhelmina Rise.”

“Wilhelmina Rise, Ewa side, between driveways of 1534 and 1542 Wilhelmina Rise.”

“Wilhelmina Rise, Ewa side, distance 30’ makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of the 4200 block of Sierra Dr.”

“Wilhelmina Rise, Ewa side, distance 70’ makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Sierra Dr. opposite 2055 Wilhelmina Rise.”

2. By amending thereto the following items:

Ninth Ave., Koko Head side, distance 70’ makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Kilauea Ave.; to read:

“Ninth Ave., Koko Head side, distance 132’ makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Kilauea Ave.”

Portlock Rd., both sides, from a point 200’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Portlock Rd. at Kalanianaole Hwy.; to read:

“Portlock Rd., Koko Head side, from a point 200’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Portlock Rd. at Kalanianaole Hwy. to its mauka terminus.”

Wilhelmina Rise, both sides, distance 90’ makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Sierra Dr.; to read:

“Wilhelmina Rise, Koko Head side, distance 95’ makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Sierra Dr., fronting 2055 Wilhelmina Rise.”

Wilhelmina Rise, Koko Head side, distance 172’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Waialae Ave.; to read:

“Wilhelmina Rise, Koko Head side, distance 208’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Waialae Ave.”

Wilhelmina Rise, Koko Head side, distance approximately one parking stall makai of 13th Ave.; to read:

“Wilhelmina Rise, Koko Head side, distance 40’ makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of 13th Ave.”

Wilhelmina Rise, Koko Head side, distance 3 blocks mauka of block 1500; to read:

“Wilhelmina Rise, Koko Head side, between Anuhea St. and the 4200 block of Sierra Dr.”

Wilhelmina Rise, Ewa side, between Sierra Dr. mauka direction and driveway of 1534 Wilhelmina Rise; to read:

“Wilhelmina Rise, Ewa side, distance 170’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Sierra Dr., fronting 1534 Wilhelmina Rise.”

Wilhelmina Rise, Ewa side, distance 115’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of the 4100 block of Sierra Dr.; to read:

“Wilhelmina Rise, Ewa side, distance 115’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Sierra Dr., fronting 1708 Wilhelmina Rise.”

3. By deleting therefrom the following items:

“Portlock Rd., Ewa side, within 20’ from either side of the lane at 379 Portlock Rd. across 380 Portlock Rd.”

“Portlock Rd., makai side, distance 140’ Koko Head direction from a point 35’ Ewa of the Ewa curb prolongation of Lawai St.”

“Queen St., makai side, between Keawe St. and South St., PM Peak.”

“Queen St., mauka side, distance 75’ Ewa direction from the Ewa curb prolongation of Cooke St.”

“Queen St., mauka side, between Emily and South Sts., AM Peak.”

“Wilhelmina Rise, Koko Head side, distance 172’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Waialae Ave.”

“Wilhelmina Rise, Koko Head side, distance approximately one parking stall mauka and makai of Keanu St.”

d. By amending Schedule XXV of Sec. 15-15.3(d) establishing official bus stops in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following items:

“Kamehameha Hwy., mauka side, distance 135’ Kahuku direction from the Kahuku curb prolongation of Mehana St. (Kaneohe).”

“Kamehameha Hwy., makai side, distance 140’ Kahuku direction from the Kahuku curb prolongation of Mehana St. (Kaneohe).”

2. By deleting therefrom the following items:

“Kalakaua Ave., Ewa side, distance 143’ makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Ala Wai Blvd.”

“Kamehameha Hwy., makai side, distance 150’ Makapuu direction from a point 136’ Makapuu of the Makapuu curb prolongation of Mehana St. (Kaneohe).”

“Kamehameha Hwy., mauka side, distance 150’ Kahuku direction from a point 247’ Kahuku of the Kahuku curb prolongation of Kahuhipa St. (Kaneohe).”

Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
