Notice of a Public Information Meeting
for Wai‘anapanapa State Park


The Division of State Parks will be holding a public information meeting to discuss the Master Plan and draft environmental impact statement (DEIS) for Wai‘anapanapa State Park. The purpose of the meeting is to solicit the public’s input on the proposed future improvements, protection of the area’s natural and cultural resources and to discuss the process of environmental review.

Date: May 18, 2006
Time: 5:30 p.m.
Place: Hana High and Elementary School
Cafeteria, 4111 Hana Highway

The DEIS may be reviewed at the Hana and Kahului libraries. Written comments will be received at the meeting or by mail to: Lauren Tanaka, Div. of State Parks, P.O. Box 621, Honolulu, HI 96809, email to: Lauren.A. Tanaka@hawaii.gov; or by fax to (808) 587-0311.
