Permanent Vacancy – Planning Department in Kailua-Kona

Starting salary: $3,136.00 – $4,469.00/month

Minimum requirements: A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in urban planning, geography, architecture, engineering, economics, sociology, political science, public administration, or a related field and two years of work experience in community planning, environmental planning, architecture, engineering, socio-economic research, or related community planning activities. Certain positions in this class of work may require the possession of a valid driver\u2019s license to perform the position’s essential job duties. The immediate vacancy requires the possession of a valid driver’s license.

Starting salary: $2,718.00 – $4,182.00 per month/
$15.68 – $24.13 per hour

Minimum requirements: A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from high school and one year experience as a beach lifeguard. Possession of a current United States Lifesaving Association Ocean Lifeguard Certificate, a current American Heart Association BLS for Health Care Providers or American Red Cross Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional Rescuer (CPR/PR) Certificate, a current 40-hour First Responder Certificate that meets United States Department of Transportation guidelines. Certain positions in this class of work may require the possession of a valid driver\u2019s license to perform the position’s essential job duties. The immediate vacancy requires the possession of a valid driver’s license.
