HOSPITAL NURSING MANAGER

Hawaii State Hospital is a JCAHO accredited facility licensed for 190 beds providing psychiatric inpatient services for adults with severe and persistent mental illness. Duties for this position include: responsibility for ensuring that the Nursing Unit at Hawaii State Hospital provides the highest standards of psychiatric inpatient treatment and rehabilitation care and accountability for the clinical practice of the nursing unit and compliance with quality improvement activities.

This is a non-civil service exempt position. Applicants must possess or be eligible to obtain a Hawaii RN license. Certification in Nursing Administration; and/or Certification as a Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) is preferred.
