NOTICE TO BIDDERS
BID FORMS for IFB No. 06-064, with plans, Air Conditioning Plant Renovation, Kauai Community College, will be available from and received in the OFFICE OF PROCUREMENT AND REAL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT (OPRPM), UNIVERSITY OF HAWAII, 1400 LOWER CAMPUS ROAD, ROOM 15, HONOLULU, HAWAII 96822 OR at the Office of the Director of Administrative Services, Kauai Community College, 3-1901 Kaumualii Highway, Lihue, Hawaii 96766.
Requests for Substitution/Clarification must be submitted to the Technical Representative, Brian Kashiwaeda, no later than 4:00 p.m., March 28, 2006.
Written notice of intention to bid is due in OPRPM by 4:30 p.m., March 31, 2006. Intention to bid via FAX (808) 956-2093 is acceptable.
Bids must be submitted no later than 2:30 p.m., April 11, 2006.
Bids will be opened at 2:30 p.m., April 13, 2006.
The project in general consists of a new packaged air cooled chiller with a new concrete pad, new concrete masonry unit enclosure and new chain-link fence doors; new chilled water pump with concrete pad; chemical feeder; expansion tank; chilled water make-up; new motorized or regular butterfly chilled water valves; new chilled water piping and insulation; extend the existing energy management and control system to include the new chiller and its related sub systems; and a new differential pressure sensor for the new chilled water system. Provide a new dimmer room complete with drywall, door, ceiling, light, a fan coil unit with a complete temperature control package and a DX air cooled condensing unit on a new concrete pad. Provide all supportive devices / accessories / power to the new equipment mentioned as required, and related work complete.
To be eligible to bid, bidders must possess a valid State of Hawaii contractor\u2019s license B. BIDS FROM OUT-OF-STATE CONTRACTORS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
Bids received after the due time and date(s) fixed above will not be considered.
