NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
March 8, 2006
You are invited to submit your proposal to provide services as a Special Projects Coordinator.
Proposals specifying contractors qualifications and proposed hourly rate will be accepted up to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 18, 2006, in the office of the Hawaii Community Development Authority (HCDA), 677 Ala Moana Boulevard, Suite 1001, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813. Proposals may be submitted by mail, facsimile or hand-delivered.
Submission of an offer shall be evidence that the contractor understands the scope of work and shall comply with instructions. No additional compensation will be made by reason of any misunderstanding or error regarding conditions at the areas, or the amount of work to be performed.
SPECIFICATIONS
Scope of Work:
The work shall consist of furnishing labor to coordinate projects assigned from time to time by the Asset Manager or Executive Director of HCDA.
SAMPLE DESCRIPTION OF WORK
Projects include, but are not limited to, preparing Invitations for Bids; supervising contractors; coordinating Community Service Sentencing Program workers; showing properties; maintenance projects; assist in leasing of properties and working with tenants and vendors.
WORK SCHEDULE
Contractor must be on call seven days a week. Anticipated weekly hours will approximate 16-24 per week. Contract term will be for 12 months with option to extend for two additional 12 month periods.
REQUIREMENTS
Contractor must have valid drivers license, reside on Oahu, have experience with hand tools, conversant in English, ability to work with diverse personalities and proven record of achieving results. Selection of contractor will be based 50% upon price and 50% upon satisfaction of above requirements as determined by the Evaluation Committee.
