STRUCTURAL/GENERAL ENGINEER
Responsible for coordinating and developing a Comprehensive Survivable Crisis Management Plan and proposal for the State of Hawaii. Provide engineering assistance and advice to the various programs administered by State Civil Defense (e.g. conducting surveys to identify emergency shelters that will protect people against natural and man-made disasters).
College degree with a major in engineering or architecture and 3 years progressive experience in planning, design, or construction which demonstrates an ability to analyze, interpret, and evaluate various data. Must possess a valid State of Hawaii drivers license and be a citizen of the United States.
Salary range: $3,820-$5,024/month. Deadline to apply: March 16, 2006.
