Traffic Schedule No. 2006-2
TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2006-2 TO AMEND SCHEDULE IV OF SECTION 15-7.2(a)(2) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–15 MPH; SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XIX OF SECTION 15-13.9(a)(6) ESTABLISHING TOW ZONES–AM/PM PEAKS; SCHEDULE XX OF SECTION 15-13.9(a)(7) ESTABLISHING TOW ZONES–24 HOURS; SCHEDULE XXI OF SECTION 15-13.9(a)(8) ESTABLISHING TOW ZONES–SPECIFIED TIMES; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXIII OF SECTION 15-14.5(b) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED LOADING/UNLOADING; SCHEDULE XXIV OF SECTION 15-15.1(d) ESTABLISHING CURB LOADING ZONES; SCHEDULE XXVIII OF SECTION 15-17.2(d) ESTABLISHING RESTRICTED PEDESTRIANS CROSSING ROADWAYS; SCHEDULE XXXVIII OF SECTION 15-24.17 ESTABLISHING MISCELLANEOUS TRAFFIC CONTROLS.
Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:
a. By amending Schedule IV of Sec. 15-7.2(a)(2) establishing speed limit–15 mph by adding thereto the following items:
Ahekolo St., between Pacific Hgts. and Booth Rds.
Auwinala Rd., between Wanaao and Awakea Rds.
b. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
Auwinala Rd., between Awakea Rd. and its dead end.
Hobron Ln., for its entire length.
Ilihau St., for its entire length.
Kaha St., for its entire length.
Kapii St., for its entire length.
Rose St., (Kalihi), for its entire length.
Royal Palm Dr., for its entire length.
2. By amending thereto the following item:
Ahekolo St., for its entire length; to read:
Ahekolo St., between Booth and Pauoa Rds.
c. By amending Schedule XIX of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(6) establishing tow zones–AM/PM Peak by amending thereto the following item:
Hobron Ln., Ewa side, distance 60 mauka direction from a point 200 mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Ala Moana Blvd.; to read:
Hobron Ln, Ewa side, distance 53 mauka direction from a point 191 mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Ala Moana Blvd.
d. By amending Schedule XX of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(7) establishing tow zones–24 hours by amending thereto the following item:
Hobron Ln., Ewa side, distance 200 mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Ala Moana Blvd.; to read:
Hobron Ln., Ewa side, distance 191 mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Ala Moana Blvd.
e. By amending Schedule XXI of Sec. 15-13.9(a)(8) establishing tow zones–specified times by adding thereto the following item:
Pamoa Rd., Ewa (odd-numbered) side, between Kolowalu St. and Alaula Wy., 7:00-8:30 a.m. and 2:00-3:30 p.m., school days only.
f. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
Alaloa St., mauka (western) side, distance 50 Makapuu (southerly) direction from the Makapuu curb prolongation of Haiku Rd.
Haiea Pl., within its turnaround area.
Hao St., Koko Head side, distance 99 mauka direction from a point 33 mauka of the mauka property line of 1011 Hao St. to and including its terminus.
Hao St., Ewa side, distance 84 makai direction from its mauka terminus.
Koalipehu St., within its Waianae (western) turnaround area.
S. Kuakini St., mauka side, distance 107 Koko Head direction from the Ewa curb prolongation of Nuuanu Ave.
Lumiaina St., western side, distance 280 southerly direction from a point 200 south of the southern curb prolongation of Kukula St.
2. By amending thereto the following item:
Lumiaina St., western side, distance 485 southerly direction from the southern curb prolongation of Kukula St.; to read:
Lumiaina St., western side, distance 80 southerly direction from the southern curb prolongation of Kukula St.
g. By amending Schedule XXIII of Sec. 15-14.5(b) establishing prohibited loading/ unloading by amending thereto the following item:
Hobron Ln., Ewa side, distance 200 mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Ala Moana Blvd., 6:30-8:30 a.m. and 3:30-5:30 p.m. except Saturdays, Sundays and State holidays; to read:
Hobron Ln., Ewa side, distance 191 mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Ala Moana Blvd., 6:30-8:30 a.m. and 3:30-5:30 p.m. except Saturdays, Sundays and State holidays.
h. By amending Schedule XXIV of Sec. 15-15.1(d) establishing curb loading zones by amending thereto subsection (b) freight loading zones the following items:
Ahonui St., Koko Head side, distance approximately 70 makai direction from a point approximately 90 makai of the makai curb prolongation of N. School St., 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday including holidays.; to read:
Ahonui St., Koko Head (southern) side, distance approximately 70 makai (westerly) direction from a point approximately 125 makai of the makai curb prolongation of N. School St., 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday to Saturday including holidays.
Hobron Ln., Ewa side, distance 60 mauka direction from a point 200 mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Ala Moana Blvd., 6:30-8:30 a.m. and 3:30-5:30 p.m., except Saturdays, Sundays and State holidays; to read:

i. By amending Schedule XXVIII of Sec. 15-17.2(d) establishing restricting pedestrians crossing roadways by adding thereto the following item:
West Hind Dr., the unmarked crosswalk across W. Hind Dr. on the makai side of the intersection of W. Hind Dr. and Makalena St.
j. By amending Schedule XXXVIII of Sec. 15-24.17 establishing miscellaneous traffic controls by adding thereto the following item:
Lumiaina St., south bound traffic in the western lane must turn right at Kukula St.
Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
