REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
RFP No. BREG-06-1

The State of Hawaii BUSINESS REGISTRATION DIVISION (BREG) desires to obtain the services of a third party vendor for an On-line Data Transfer Project to modify its databases running on the Oracle 9i Platform to enable data from on-line filings to be first validated and then stored automatically. Specifications may be obtained, at no cost, beginning at 9:00 a.m. (HST), February 24, 2006 from the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA), Business Registration Division, 335 Merchant Street, 2nd Floor, Room 203, Honolulu, Hawaii 96813, may be mailed by calling (808) 586-2744 or may be downloaded from the “News Release and Other Notices” page on BREG’s website BusinessRegistrations.com. Prospective bidders requesting the specifications to be mailed by overnight courier service shall provide their Federal Express account number or its equivalent. Prospective bidders may submit typewritten questions about the ON-LINE DATA TRANSFER PROJECT PROPOSAL to BREG by 2:00 p.m. (HST), March 13, 2006. Proposals shall be delivered to and received by BREG at the above address by 4:00 p.m. (HST) March 28, 2006. BREG reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or cancel this RFP when it is in the best interest of BREG and/or the State. The State, BREG, and DCCA shall not be liable for any costs whatsoever incurred in the event a proposal is rejected or this RFP is cancelled.
