2006 CANDIDATE WORKSHOPS

The Campaign Spending Commission announces the first round of candidate and committee workshops for the 2006 elections. The workshops provide a review of the requirements for record keeping and reporting of campaign contributions and expenditures and provide a general overview of campaign finance law, as well as the new Act 203 update.

Certified Public Accountants may earn two (2) Professional Continuing Education credits. The Campaign Spending Commission is registered with the Hawaii State Board of Accountancy as a sponsor of continuing professional education. Each workshop will be divided into two sessions:
Session (1) 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. – new candidates.
Session (2) 10:15 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. – Act 203 law update for all
