NOTICE

The COUNCIL OF THE CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU at its meeting held on January 25, 2006, passed the following bills on Second Reading by the following votes:

BILL 70 (2005) – HOUSE NUMBERING – The purpose of this bill is to provide that designated buildings specified by ordinance may be exempt from the method of house numbering generally applicable in rural areas in the City and County of Honolulu and to provide for the redesignation of building numbers for certain buildings on Oahu.
AYES: Councilmembers Cachola, Dela Cruz, Djou, Garcia, Kobayashi, Marshall, Okino, Tam. – 8.
EXCUSED: Councilmember Apo. – 1.

BILL 74 (2005) – MOTOR VEHICLES PARKED ON PUBLIC STREETS, HIGHWAYS, OR PEDESTRIAN MALLS – The purpose of this bill is to make it unlawful for anyone, other than the legal owner or someone authorized by the legal owner, to remove or tamper with parts from a motor vehicle parked on a public street or highway.
AYES: Councilmembers Apo, Cachola, Dela Cruz, Djou, Garcia, Kobayashi, Marshall, Okino, Tam. – 9.

BILL 77 (2005) – GREEN BUILDING STANDARDS FOR CITY FACILITIES – The purpose of this bill is to require all new city facilities above 5,000 square feet to meet a minimum LEED Silver standard of environmentally sensitive design beginning in fiscal year 2008 and thereafter.
AYES: Councilmembers Cachola, Dela Cruz, Djou, Garcia, Kobayashi, Marshall, Okino, Tam. – 8.
EXCUSED: Councilmember Apo. – 1.
