Permanent Vacancy – Department of Public Works in Hilo and future island-wide vacancies

Starting salary:
$4,112.00 – $5,853.00/month

Minimum Requirements: A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in civil, electrical, electronics, or traffic engineering and four years of work experience in the design, preparation, and analysis of engineering, electrical, or electronics plans and/or systems, six months of which shall have included the design, implementation, and/or maintenance of traffic signal and/or major street lighting systems, and possession of a valid driver’s license (submit a copy of your college transcript and driver’s license).

Starting salary:
$4,965.00 – $6,792.00/month

Minimum Requirements: A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a baccalaureate degree and five years of experience in the analysis, design, development, and implementation of programs and activities of a major functional area of information technology, e.g., data processing, computer operations and programming, networking, geographic information systems, etc.; three years of which shall have included managerial responsibility such as program evaluation, policy formulation and implementation, and personnel and budget management, and possession of a valid driver’s license (submit a copy of your college transcript and driver’s license).

$15.61/hour (part-time)

Minimum Requirements: A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from high school. Possession of a current American Red Cross Lifeguard Training with First Aid Certificate or equivalent, a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers or American Red Cross Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation for the Professional Rescuer (CPR/PR) Certificate, and a valid driver’s license (submit copy of your driver’s license and certificates).
