Starting salary: $2,894.00/month
Minimum Requirements: A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to completion of the eighth grade and one year of experience involving maintenance and repair of buildings and equipment and possession of a valid drivers license (submit a copy of your drivers license).
Permanent Vacancy Department of Environmental Management in Hilo and future vacancies
Starting salary: $4,112.00 – $5,853.00/month
Minimum Requirements: A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with baccalaureate degree in civil, chemical, mechanical, or environmental engineering and three years of professional engineering experience that involved designing plans and specifications and/or managing construction projects involving solid waste or wastewater facilities or operations, and a valid drivers license (submit a copy of your college transcript and drivers license). License Requirements: Possession of a professional engineer license in the United States at time of filing (submit a copy of your professional engineer license). Prior to completion of probation, possession of a certificate of registration as a professional engineer in the State of Hawai`i.

Starting salary: $3,716.00/month
Minimum Requirements: A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to completion of the eighth grade and four years of experience as an electrician apprentice or helper including one year of experience in the installation, repair, overhaul, and maintenance of a variety of electrical plant or industrial equipment including high voltage lines and equipment, and some experience in the operation, repair, and overhaul work on diesel-driven equipment or electrically-driven pumps. Possession of a current State of Hawai`i Journeylevel Electrician\u2019s License or a current State of Hawai`i Journeylevel Industrial Electrician\u2019s License and a valid drivers license (submit a copy of your State of Hawai`i Journeylevel or Industrial Electricians License, and drivers license).
