Traffic Schedule No. 2008-1
TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES

IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2008-1 TO AMEND SCHEDULE I OF SECTION 15-6.2(a) ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC SIGNALS (CITY); SCHEDULE IV OF SECTION 15-7.2(a)(2) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–15 MPH; SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXV OF SECTION 15-15.3(d) ESTABLISHING OFFICIAL BUS STOPS.

Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:

a. By amending Schedule I of Sec. 15-6.2(a) establishing traffic signals (City) by deleting therefrom the following item:

“Nuuanu Ave-Pauahi St.”

b. By amending Schedule IV of Sec. 15-7.2(a)(2) establishing speed limit–15 mph by adding thereto the following item:

“Paina St., makai (western) leg, for its entire length.”

c. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph by adding thereto the following items:

“Kulukeoe St., for its entire length.”

“Paina St., mauka (eastern) leg, for its entire length.”

d. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:

1. By adding thereto the following items:

“Alihilani Pl., even-numbered side, distance 97’ makai direction from its
terminus.”

“Alihilani Pl., even-numbered side, from a point 97’ makai direction from its
terminus to the Ewa property line of 2024 Alihilani Pl., 7:00 to 9:00 a.m. school days only.”

“Holokai Pl., within its turnaround area.”

“Kahaloa Dr., both sides, between Woodlawn Dr. and its dead end and including its turnaround area.”

“Kahapili St., eastern (Koko Head) side, distance 90’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Kaonohi St.”

“Kinohi Pl., makai side, distance 65’ Waianae direction from a point 380’
Waianae of the Waianae curb prolongation of Makakilo Dr.”

“Kipukai Pl., within its turnaround area.”

Kuanalu Pl., within its turnaround area.”

“Paina St., within its makai (western) turnaround area.”

2. By amending thereto the following items:

Ahui St., Ewa side, from Ala Moana to entrance C & C yard; to read:

“Ahui St., Ewa side, between Ala Moana Blvd. and Ilalo St.”

Ahui St., Koko Head side, distance 108’ mauka direction from a point 62’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Ilalo St.; to read:

“Ahui St., Koko Head side, distance 149’ mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Ilalo St.”

Alihilani Pl., odd-numbered side, entire length; to read:

“Alihilani Pl., odd-numbered side, for its entire length and including its terminus.”

Kealahou St., Ewa side, distance 110’ makai direction from the makai curb
prolongation of Holokai Pl.; to read:

“Kealahou St., Ewa side, distance 117’ makai direction from the makai curb
prolongation of Holokai Pl.”

Kealahou St., Ewa side, distance 140’ mauka direction from the mauka curb
prolongation of Kuanalu Pl.; to read:

“Kealahou St., Ewa side, distance 147’ mauka direction from the mauka curb
prolongation of Kuanalu Pl.”

Kinohi Pl., mauka side, Ewa direction from a point 286’ from the Ewa curb
prolongation of Makakilo Dr. to its terminus; to read:

“Kinohi Pl., mauka side, distance 160’ Waianae direction from a point 286’
Waianae of the Waianae curb prolongation of Makakilo Dr.”

Koka St., Waianae side, distance 380’ mauka direction from the mauka curb
prolongation of Kolowaka Dr.; to read:

“Koka St., Waianae (western) side, distance 630’ mauka (southerly) direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Kolowaka Dr.”

3. By deleting therefrom the following items:

“Alihilani Pl., even-numbered side, from the Ewa property line of 2024 Alihilani Pl. to its mauka terminus, 7:00 to 9:00 a.m., school days.”

“Kealahou St., Ewa side, distance 160’ makai direction from the makai curb
prolongation of Kuanalu Pl.”

“Ninth Ave., Ewa side, for a distance 130’ makai direction from a point 50’ makai of mauka property line Liholiho School, 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. and 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. school days.”

e. By amending Schedule XXV of Sec. 15-15.3(d) establishing official bus stops by amending thereto the following item:

Kealahou St., Ewa side, distance 150’ makai direction from a point 165’ makai of the makai curb prolongation of Kalohelani Pl.; to read:

“Kealahou St., Ewa side, distance 150’ makai direction from a point 80’ mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Kalohelani Pl.”

Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
