Traffic Schedule No. 2007-11
TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE REVISED ORDINANCES OF HONOLULU 1990 (ROH), AS AMENDED, THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION SERVICES, CITY AND COUNTY OF HONOLULU, HEREBY ESTABLISHES TRAFFIC SCHEDULE NO. 2007-11 TO AMEND SCHEDULE I OF SECTION 15-6.2(a) ESTABLISHING TRAFFIC SIGNALS (CITY); SCHEDULE V OF SECTION 15-7.2(b)(3) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–25 MPH; SCHEDULE VI OF SECTION 15-7.2(c) ESTABLISHING SPEED LIMIT–30 MPH; SCHEDULE XXII OF SECTION 15-14.5(a) ESTABLISHING PROHIBITED PARKING CERTAIN AREAS; SCHEDULE XXIV OF SECTION 15-15.1(d) ESTABLISHING CURB LOADING ZONES; SCHEDULE XXVIII OF SECTION 15-17.2(d) ESTABLISHING RESTRICTED PEDESTRIANS CROSSING ROADWAYS.
Section 1. Chapter 15 of the ROH 1990, as amended, is hereby further amended in the following particulars:
a. By amending Schedule I of Sec. 15-6.2(a) establishing traffic signals (City) by adding thereto the following item:
Fern St.-Kalakaua Ave.
b. By amending Schedule V of Sec. 15-7.2(b)(3) establishing speed limit–25 mph by adding thereto the following items:
Kilauea Ave., between Waialae Ave. and Pueo St. when children are present.
Oomana Pl., for its entire length.
c. By amending Schedule VI of Sec. 15-7.2(c) establishing speed limit–30 mph by amending thereto the following item:
Kilauea Ave., from 22nd Ave. to Waialae Ave.; to read:
Kilauea Ave., from 22nd Ave. to Waialae Ave. except for portion specified in Schedule V.
d. By amending Schedule XXII of Sec. 15-14.5(a) establishing prohibited parking certain areas in the following particulars:
1. By adding thereto the following items:
Ala Kamaile, Ewa side, distance 50 makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Ala Ilima.
Ala Kamaile, Koko Head side, distance 52 mauka direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Ala Akulikuli.
Auhau Pl., within its turnaround area.
Bannister St., both sides, between Laumaka St. and Bannister Pl.
Fern St., mauka side, distance 94 Koko Head direction from the Koko Head curb prolongation of Kalakaua Ave.
Fern St., makai side, distance 54 Koko Head direction from the Koko Head curb prolongation of Kalakaua Ave.
Ipuhao Pl., northern (Waialua) side, distance 47 easterly direction from the eastern (Koolau) curb prolongation of Koa St.
Kohou St., Ewa side, distance 83 makai direction from a point 540 makai of the makai curb prolongation of Mookaula St.
Meli Pl., Makapuu (southern) side, distance 55 makai (easterly) direction from the mauka curb prolongation of Kamehameha Hwy.
Nohona Pl., mauka side, distance 65 Koko Head direction from a point 247 Koko Head of the Koko Head curb prolongation of Nohona St. and including its turnaround area.
Pilikana Wy., within its turnaround area.
South St., Ewa side, distance 123 makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Kawaiahao St.
2. By amending thereto the following items:
Fern St., makai side, distance 80 Koko Head direction from a point 235 Koko Head of the Koko Head curb prolongation of Kalakaua Ave.; to read:
Fern St., makai side, distance 56 Koko Head direction from a point 235 Koko Head of the Koko Head curb prolongation of Kalakaua Ave.
Hoa St., within its turnaround area; to read:
Hoa St., within its mauka and makai turnaround areas.
Mahiai St., Koko Head side, distance 37 makai of the makai curb prolongation of Nahaku Pl.; to read:
Mahiai St., Koko Head side, distance 50 makai direction from the makai curb prolongation of Nahaku Pl.
e. By amending Schedule XXIV of Sec. 15-15.1(d) establishing subsection (b) freight loading zone by deleting therefrom the following item:
Kalakaua Ave., Koko Head side, distance 45 mauka direction from a point 30 mauka of the mauka curb prolongation of Young St.
f. By amending Schedule XXVIII of Sec. 15-17.2(d) establishing restricted pedestrians crossing roadways by adding thereto the following items:
Kilauea Ave., the unmarked crosswalk across Kilauea Ave. on the mauka side of the intersection of Kilauea and Pahoa Aves.
Kuhio Ave., the unmarked crosswalk across Kuhio Ave. on the Koko Head side of the intersection of Kuhio Ave. and Kuamoo St.
Section 2. This schedule is hereby attached to and made a part of Article VI hereof and shall take effect ten (10) working days after its publication.
