The public is advised that roadwork on Alewa Drive from Wyllie Street to Hoomaikai Street is scheduled to begin on November 13, 2007 with a contract duration of 360 calendar days. The project includes asphalt reconstruction and resurfacing of the roadways, curb and gutter reconstruction, adjustment of utilities to grade, asphalt concrete berms, catch basin repairs, and pavement markings. Work hours are from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM Monday through Friday. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution, observe all traffic control devices, anticipate delays or use alternate routes. Special Duty officers will be used at critical locations to assist motorists and pedestrians.
