CIVIL DEFENSE STAFF OFFICER

Starting salary: $4,112.00 – $5,853.00/month

Minimum Requirements: – A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with major work in public administration, business administration or a related field, and four years of responsible experience in administration, communications, training, supply operations, or disaster preparedness and recovery that involved the development and implementation of administrative or operational policies, plans, and procedures (submit a copy of your college transcript). License Requirements: Candidates must possess a good driving record certified by a valid traffic abstract and possession of a valid driver’s license (submit traffic abstract and driver’s license). A good driving record means not having any DUI convictions within the last three years and no moving citations within the last twelve months.

Starting salary: $3,376.00 – $4,810.00/month

Minimum Requirements: – A combination of education and experience substantially equivalent to graduation from an accredited college or university with a baccalaureate degree, and two years of work experience in industrial safety and accident prevention activities. Possession of a valid driver’s license, and prior to completion of probation, possession of a current American Red Cross Community First Aid and Safety Instructor’s Certificate (submit a copy of your college transcript and driver’s license).
