SCHOOL ATHLETIC DIRECTOR III / I ROOSEVELT HIGH, POSITION NO. 61936. This position is located in Honolulu District. TRAINING: Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelors degree, preferably in education with coursework in sports/athletic administration or physical education. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: for School Athletic Director III classification: Two (2) years experience as an Athletic Director I PLUS forty (40) or more teams; OR two (2) years as a School Athletic Director I PLUS thirty (30) to thirty-nine (39) teams AND National Certification; for School Athletic Director I classification: Five (5) years experience as an Athletic Director, high school head varsity coach, or high school administrator. SALARY RANGE: for School Athletic Director III classification: SR-3, $62,717 to $88,782; for School Athletic Director I classification: SR-1, $57,699 to $81,679. Department of Education certificated employees will be placed on the salary range in accordance with Department regulations. All others will be placed on the first step of the salary range, which is $62,717 for School Athletic Director III and $57,699 for School Athletic Director I.
